Former ballerinas and elegant ladies rejoice! OPI’s got six new additions to their SoftShades lineup, inspired by the New York City Ballet (NYCB). [Not to be confused with the American Ballet Academy where Jodi, Eva and Maureen danced their days away. Come on, I know you were thinking of Center Stage.]
The New York City Ballet collection includes five new sheers: beige, pink, white, lilac and gray, plus a silver hex-glitter.
From left: (1) Barre My Soul, (2) You Callin' Me a Lyre?, (3) Don't Touch My Tutu!, (4) Care to Danse?, (5) My Pointe Exactly, and (6) Pirouette My Whistle.
Natalie Portman as her character Nina in the widely-acclaimed, ballet-themed psychological thriller, Black Swan. Any of these polishes would match this practice ensemble perfectly.
OPI’s SoftShades line is not something I’m that familiar with since, as you know, “soft” is not an adjective used to describe my nailz too often. But even your wildest polishaholic has special occasions (weddings? interviews? televised trial? marrying Prince William?) when subtle color is the way to go.
I think “My Pointe Exactly” is probably my fav. Which colors are you guys liking best?

Tons and tons of tulle!
Are you a good witch, or a bad witch? I mean... swan.
